JAZZ Jazz demands accuracy and technique whilst contemporary builds strength, a core stability. Once jazz dancers have trained and reached a certain level they may be invited to join the contemporary class as this is a company class by invitation only.
MUSICAL THEATRE Musical theatre; the reason why we are all here. We here at YEM love musicals and love to teach our students to learn and apply their dance and drama to our favourite musical songs. We offer a range of musical theatre workshops which train children to be all-round performers. These workshops are great for boosting confidence and self-esteem as well as making great friends. In these classes children learn a great deal of musical theatre repertoire, as well as opportunities to take exams and perform in shows. Some workshops focus on dance with musical theatre, some with drama rather than dance, and some include all three! So lots of choice for every individual and age!
